Derek Stevens is a successful businessman, who is the owner of Cold Heading, The Golden Gate Hotel and Casino, The D Las Vegas Hotel and Casino and most recently Circa Hotel and Casino.
Derek is passionate about the game of baseball and giving young people the opportunity to play the sport he loves so much. Derek’s generosity and loyalty to Warrior Baseball has spanned over 10+ years and over $2,000,000 dollars. Derek graduated from Grose Pointe South, The University of Michigan, and Wayne State University. He currently resides in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Van Conway is a successful businessman, who has used his financial success and resources to help non-profits and individuals over the past 25 years. Specifically, Van has committed time, money, and resources to help high school and younger aged students achieve greatness.
He has given students the opportunity to attend private high schools, and paid for the resources needed to give them every opportunity to succeed. For those who know Van Conway, “his chest is not big enough to contain his heart!”
In honoring his commitment to local youth, Warrior Baseball is now
establishing an endowment in his name: The Van E. Conway Endowment
The Van E. Conway Endowment will focus on:
- Funding the player fee (partial or full) for Warrior Baseball. In addition,
the fund will take a holistic approach and provide any other
services/materials needed to help the player be successful in baseball
and life. - Funding indoor and outdoor facility use for the Warrior Baseball Teams.
- Funding training for the Warrior Baseball Teams to help the players
reach their full ability. - Funding (partial or full) a special trip for Warrior Baseball Teams (ie.
Cooperstown, Disney, Perfect Game).
